WINNIPEG, Manitoba — Emerging Canadian DJ and producer LxAM will release his new single, “Get Out My Way,” on December 11, 2026, through Liftoff Recordings, the dance imprint founded by U.S. electronic duo Disco Fries.
The release is a notable milestone for LxAM, the project of 17-year-old Winnipeg artist Liam Harvey. It follows Spotify editorial recognition for his song “I Just Wanna Dance,” which was featured on the platform’s Bangers playlist.
Blending vocal hooks, a driving bassline and 128 BPM house production, “Get Out My Way” turns relationship frustration into a confident club-ready anthem. Its message centres on recognizing when someone is preventing personal growth and choosing to move forward.
“Being able to put out this record through Liftoff is really exciting,” LxAM said. “I’m still learning and developing my sound, but I want every track to have emotion and give people energy.”
Liftoff Recordings was created by Disco Fries members Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic as a platform for their own releases and developing dance artists. The duo’s catalogue includes work with Tiësto and remixes for Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez and Flo Rida. Their track record gives LxAM’s release a connection to an established international dance music network.
Based in Winnipeg, with additional ties to Miami, LxAM continues to develop a personal sound rooted in accessible songwriting and dancefloor energy.
